Teaching from the Cloud
This semester I am going to try to teach as much as possible from the cloud. All documents will be google docs and presentations. I want it to help me keep my class content organized better.
I didn't even get to finish my syllabus. Since I will provide a written copy for my students I need it to look neat when printed, but Google's controls are too blunt for that.
There is a problem with Google Presentation too. The remote control I have does not advance the elements within a slide if I have incremental reveal turned on. Also, the laser pointer refreshes the web page taking me back to the first slide! So I am going to use PowerPoint in the classroom and have to convert each of my Google Presentations to PowerPoint format for that.
